Convoy of Hope is a faith-based, nonprofit organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children's feeding initiatives, community outreaches, and disaster response.
Located in Springfield, Missouri, the crossroads of America, their goal is to bring help and hope to those who need it most. They do this by engaging communities, caring for and supporting local churches, nourishing children who would otherwise go hungry, teaching people how to farm and grow their own food, responding immediately to crises around the world, and partnering with other organizations to further broaden and strengthen their impact.
Today, more than 130 million people have been served throughout the world by Convoy of Hope. They are proud that they work through churches, businesses, government agencies, and other nonprofits to provide help and hope to those who are impoverished, hungry, and hurting.
Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) gives a clear picture of God's desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, "Go and do likewise." For over 40 years, Samaritan's Purse has done our utmost to follow Christ's command by going to the aid of the world's poor, sick, and suffering. They are an effective means of reaching hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ. This, in turn, earns them a hearing for the Gospel, the Good News of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
The mission that Hope of Life longs to share with you is that simple. As you join them in saving the lives of people in Guatemala, whatever their circumstance, you are helping share God's love and the message of the gospel--bringing hope to people in both practical and spiritual ways.
Hope of Life is your ministry to others. Everything you see happening through this outreach is not their achievement but the good you are doing in the name of Jesus Christ. Your support empowers this vision...
Make Disciples of Jesus Christ in the villages of Haiti. But the work involved with carrying out that mission is not so short and punchy. The disciple making process isn't a quick one. That's why they commit to deeply invest in the villages they work with.
They accomplish this through seeking to achieve 8 benchmarks of village advancement: Godly Leadership, Biblical Teaching, Christ-centered Education, Medical Care, Clean Water Systems, Safe Roofs, Sanitation, Micro-loans.
While community advancement is an avenue they use to live out the love of Christ, their mission remains their driving force and top priority: Making disciples of Jesus.

Our Father's Children is a faith-based non-profit organization recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) that provides free week-long camps (through Royal Family Kid's Camps for ages 6-11), mentoring clubs (ages 6-11) and weekend retreats through Onward & Upward (ages 12-15) and through SUMMIT (ages 16-18) to children of abuse and neglect.
The camps/retreats are staffed by volunteers that go through an interview and screening process and training that is specifically designed to understand the needs and behaviors of abused and neglected children. Their camps/retreats offer a 2:1 camper-to-counselor ratio with the exception of The SUMMIT retreats which will have a 1:1 camper-to-counselor ratio.
They team with local community groups, churches and organizations as well as Child Protective Services and other child agencies/groups.
MISSION: Our mission is to create positive, uplifting memories for children of abuse and neglect, ages 6-18, in camp settings, weekend retreats, and in mentoring clubs with age-appropriate curriculum.
VISION: Our vision is to build self-confidence and self-esteem through various activities and establish a mentoring program built on trust and two-way communication.
Their efforts reach those suffering extreme poverty in countries throughout the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Projects include relief for earthquake, flood and tsunami victims, care and education for orphans and other vulnerable children, housing for the homeless, medicines and health care for the indigent, food for families suffering extreme malnutrition, and clean water for communities that have none, as well as micro-enterprise programs and other long-term development efforts to break the cycle of poverty.
In every case, their method of outreach is the same: Cross International locates needy church-based ministries and other faith-based organizations serving the poor and distributes material aid through their existing programs. In this way, they can supply meaningful help where it is needed most. In all our work we remain dedicated in our service to the Lord as good stewards of His resources in every challenge we seek to overcome.
