Find Policy

The Find Policy utility can be used to quickly locate a policy within a report or municipal boundary, without having to manually search for it.

To find an address or find a policy:

1. Select Find Policy from the Tools menu (or press Ctrl+F).
2. Enter your search criteria in the dialog box.
3. To find only policies which exactly match the search criteria, check the Exact Match option. Otherwise, the find tool will find any instance where the text is a partial match of the policy number or address.
4. Click the Find Next button.

If an address or policy is found which matches the search criteria, the address will be highlighted on the report or map. Please note: In order for the Find Policy utility to locate an address, the address must already exist within the report file. If the address does not exist in the report file, a message will be displayed stating that no matching address could be found.

If the report includes both source and matched addresses, only the matched addresses are searched for.
