Florida Fire and Police Module Options
If a good match is returned, this address is searched against a database
provided by the Florida Department of Revenue to determine allocation
of the address. The address points are not plotted on a Florida map. The
government database indicates where the address is to be allocated to.
For poor matches, the allocation is determined by the source city name.
There are 3 different ways to process Florida premiums.
- You may Process Both Fire and Police modules together at the same time, by choosing
this option on the process premium dialog. Policies marked with a fire premium type
code will appear in the fire module and policies marked with other premium type codes
will appear in the police module. Policies assigned an X premium type will appear
in both modules; 30% of premiums will be assigned to the police module and 70% of
the premiums will be assigned to the fire module.
- You may process only one module at a time, but still exclude policies that would
appear in the other module had you chosen to process both modules together. Policies
assigned an X will have the appropriate percentage applied. To do so, choose the
Evaluate premium types when processing separately option. On the Process Premiums
dialog.
- If you choose neither of the above options, all premiums will be processed in the
current module, regardless of the premium type code. A percentage will not be applied
to premiums using the X premium type code.
