Updates
Updates to the software will be released throughout the year. Updates
for the Workstation files will be released quarterly.
In order to provide you with the
most up-to-date software, all Premium Pro product updates are available
via the TriTech Software website (www.tritechsoft.com).
When a product update is released, email notifications will be sent to
let you know that the update is available. (Note: to request changes to
an email contact, please contact your account manager toll-free at (800)
380-6407.) The email notification includes instructions to download and
apply the update, as well as the user name and password needed to access
the update. To apply an Internet update, please follow these steps:
- Similar to any other installation, make sure that no one is
in the software when you begin the update. If the update needs
to replace files that are in use, an error message will be displayed.
- Double-click the file that was downloaded from the TriTech Software
website to start the update.
- When prompted to choose a destination folder, select the same
folder that was used during the initial setup. If the wrong destination
folder is chosen, a message will be displayed to inform you that the
destination folder is incorrect.
- When the update has finished, double-click the desktop shortcut
to start the application. Ensure that the version number displayed
near the title of the software is the correct version.
NOTES:
- The setup will automatically create subfolders for each Premium
Pro product within the selected destination folder. For this reason,
do not specify separate folders for each product. For example, for
2021-2022 Allocator, the destination folder should not include the
Aloctr22 folder, as in "C:\Program Files\2021-2022 Premium Pro\Aloctr22".
Instead, the destination folder should read "C:\Program Files\2021-2022
Premium Pro". If you performed a Stand-Alone installation to
each PC, you must apply the update to each machine.
- If you performed a Network (Server) installation to a network or
shared drive, you need only update the network (shared) drive.
