Exception

This column on the Match Exceptions Report indicates that part of the source address is missing.  Allocator can still return a high quality matching address if the city or zip code is missing.  If both are missing or the street address is missing, it cannot.  Incomplete addresses should always be corrected to ensure that good matching addresses are returned.

Remove Exception

If the source address contains an empty address, city, state, or zip code field, the exception field will be marked with an “X”. The exception field appears on the Match Exceptions Report. Geo-coding the address will remove the “X” from the field and will remove the address from the Match Exception report. A policy with a good matching address will still be marked an “X” if part of the source address is empty. If you want to remove the “X” without geo-coding or editing the address, right-click on the policy and choose Remove Exception. You may also go to Tools, then select Remove Exception. This will remove the policy from the Match Exceptions report.
