The new platform for TriTech Premium Pro products is TriTech Stratus.
Fully web-based and accessible from anywhere with an internet connection, Stratus is being redesigned using the latest technology with security, reliability, and scalability in mind. Stratus will be housed in a state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure, and the code is developed using security-based standards. Stratus will deliver improved performance, seamless updates, and a better overall experience for our customers.
Stratus Agent, a point-of-sale solution for the state of Kentucky, as well as the first edition of Stratus Forms+, have already been released.
Allocator, Premium Tax, and Municipal development are underway! In the coming months, we will be seeking clients to participate in beta testing Allocator and Premium Tax in Stratus. Beta testers will have the opportunity to assess the software and provide feedback before we release the product to all of our clients. Your expertise and opinions are invaluable and ensure that we are on track to deliver products that continue to meet and exceed your expectations.
We can’t wait to show you all the progress we’ve made! TriTech will continue to send out regular updates to our clients about the progress and development of all of our Stratus product releases. We are excited about the potential of TriTech Stratus and look forward to your feedback and suggestions as well as getting you ready for your TriTech Stratus Experience!
With Stratus platform in the works, we are about 10 months into the process of contract conversions. As such, we wanted to put together some of the frequently asked questions surrounding the legal side of the new system.
Q1. What is the new Software MSA?
A1. Currently, we have a few versions of our software agreements that are active with our clients and these were drafted between 1997 to 2016. Our goal is to consolidate our various contracts into one all-encompassing Software MSA that contains updated language and clauses that are best suited to the modern business environment.
Q2. What do we need to begin accessing Stratus, as products become avalible?
A2. Once Stratus has been completed and clients are ready to migrate, we will require a signed Software MSA in order to transfer you to the new platform. After Stratus has been completed and an appropriate amount of time has passed, TriTech will begin the process of sunsetting the existing On-Prem and Hosting options.
Q3. We have an active SPE agreement that goes until 2026, how will the new MSA impact that?
A3. All of our agreements are perpetual agreements and follow the signed Scope & Pricing Exhibit (SPE) or a paid invoice. The SPE (similar to a Purchase Order) governs what products are selected, length of use, number of users and agreed costs. The MSA, however, governs the actual terms and condition for your software relationship with TriTech.
