Position Overview
This position offers entry-level opportunity in business casual environment. Attention to detail, good multi-tasking skills, positive personality and ability to work in a hectic, fast paced environment are a must.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Greet visitors to the office in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure each guest signs into the attendance book as well as display a visitor badge throughout their stay.
- Answering multi-line phone while recording accurate messages via electronic call log system.
- Quickly passing calls to appropriate department based on minimal information given by caller.
- Travel and logistical arrangements for business shows, client trainings and meetings including booking airfare, hotel and transportation.
- On-line shipping preparation.
- Manage office supplies, vendors and organization of inventory.
- Research, including fax, mail and call each city in Georgia, Florida and Louisiana each year to obtain their current municipal tax rate.
- Update and preserve the year-to-year municipal rate in conjunction with the municipal software developers.
- Responsible for data entry and processing of data and documents.
- Maintain good recordkeeping documentation and up-to-date client information.
- General Office Management activity, including sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Calling clients and industry professionals to obtain information and manage accounts.
- Open/close front reception area of office daily.
- Retain contract and oversee maintenance of postage meter and folding machine via postage vendor.
- Compose, modify, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, etc.
- Provides all forms of client support, including phone and email support while maintaining a professional and lasting relationship with customers.
- Contacts municipal taxing authorities regarding tax rates and legislative developments.
- Participate in the scanning and logging of tax returns that are prepared for services clients.
- Provides suggestions for improvements to the tax services process as well as processes in general.
- Takes on additional responsibilities and projects within the group.
- Other duties as needed or required.
Education

- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities

- May supervise individuals assigned to a specific project.
Qualifications & Skills

- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook. Ability to master new computer applications and software.
- Provide support to managers and other personnel.
- Strong multi-tasking ability
- Detail oriented with ability to recognize and correct minor accounting error.
- Language – Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, managers, states, and customers. Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
